Love Local Shopping! Christmas in Carversville.
Our local elves have been busy designing jewelry, making unique gifts with local resources, painting pictures, printing cards, making jams, weaving one-of-a-kind scarves, creating whimsical characters, and of course baking the most luscious cakes and cookies. When you enter into the enchanting world of the Carversville Grocery this year you will find the perfect gifts for everyone on the list. We #lovelocalartist, #lovelocalbiz, and #lovelocalfood. Take the anxiety out of the holiday hustle. Here’s how to find us: simply head in a different direction from the hordes of holiday shoppers! Follow the pristine streams into the delightful village of Carversville. Breathe in the crisp country air and be welcomed into a world where everyone is a friend and a neighbor! Be sure to ask about our store gift cards: they are the perfect stocking stuffer for the man or woman in you life who has everything!

It really is hard to find a more local gift than these superb kitchen tools designed and crafted by our own Max Hansen in his wood shop a hundred yards from the store! Most of these unique pieces start from gnarly firewood scraps found on Max and Andrea’s property. Max simply carves away everything that doesn’t look like a spoon or a spatula or a knife then sands it to a satiny finish, et voila! These are perfect for the chef or foodie in your family.
We’re really proud to carry items from local artisan Grossinger Glass. These custom designed and hand blown items are a perfect gift for the person who has everything or the one who will treasure a special work of art.
We introduced local jewelry maker Amy Ragsdale to you in a blog earlier this year. Read all about her HERE. Amy Ragsdale: “When you wear original jewelry you are acknowledging your extraordinary spirit.”

Simply write in the address of the person to whom you wish to send it, walk up to the conveniently located USPS office in the Carversville Grocery, purchase postage and drop it in the box! C’mon! It doesn’t get any easier than this or more pleasant.
