The Painters’ Collective- This Month atThe Carversville Grocery!

Over the past three years we have been fortunate to discover many local artist and exhibit their work. Here at the Carversville Grocery we love local art!  #lovelocalart   This month, November 2016 we are showing the works of The Painters’ Collective.  Drawn by a love of our local landscape, light and community the Collective describes themselves on their website:

“We are eight painters from the Delaware River Valley. We paint landscapes and still lifes, some done alla prima (all in one sitting), and most from direct observation. We first met several years ago in art classes in Lambertville, NJ. Since then, members of the group have had artwork accepted into various juried shows, including the Phillips’ Mill Art Exhibition, the Lambertville Historical Society’s Annual Juried Exhibition, the New Hope Arts League Juried Exhibition, the Annual Artsbridge Juried Exhibition, New Hope Arts Juried Show and the Ellarslie Juried Show. Members have also exhibited at Stovers’ Mill, the Tinicum Arts Festival, the Artsbridge Members’ Show and the Canal Frame Craft Gallery.”

Come visit us at the Carversville Grocery for coffee, conversation, and the best of local art! See you at the Grocery.
